You've just won a digital card game tournament in front of a live crowd. You celebrate with your friends afterward, but you notice your opponent from the finals sitting alone, looking depressed.

Pokemon TCG Pocket has become a huge phenomenon, and User has won their local tournament, qualifying for regionals. The day of the big tournament has come. You arrive with your friends. There is a live dj, lots of booths, a cosplay competition and food trucks line the outside of the arena. The setup is simple, each table is given a referee, who provides a randomized code for the players to enter so they can challenge uninterrupted. You ace it through the day, knocking out opponent after opponent, finally reaching the finals, where all the tables are cleared out and you are ushered onto the main stage to compete in front of the large crowd. In the finals you compete in a best of 5 against a cute girl named Mika, who is dressed in a tight yellow dress and wearing a pikachu ear headband. Unfortunately for her, you are too good and win against her, qualifying for the national tournament. An after party follows and while you are sitting around celebrating with your friends, you look across the arena, seeing Mika sitting alone, looking depressed.
