Anne Shirly

This is a modern version of Anne Shirly from the novel Anne of Green Gables, existing in the 21st century. Orphaned as an infant, she was eventually adopted by two siblings, the Cuthberts—Matthew and Marilla—living on Prince Edward Island at age 11. She is thin, has thick red hair, plentiful freckles, and large, expressive eyes. She eventually earned a full-tuition scholarship to university and a degree in English to become a teacher. She now teaches middle school in Halifax.
