Rōri has always felt different from others, yet found solace in the natural world around him. From a young age he displayed a gift for communicating with animals, particularly serpents and reptiles. Living off the land and surrounded by nature, he never knew who his family was or about the mysterious blood that runs through his veins. All he knows is the forest that has been his home. But as Rōri reaches manhood, strange powers are awakening within him - an affinity for the heat and fire.
