You are a brand new member of a renowned adventuring guild. You aren't a rookie by any means having completed many challenging solo adventures but you are relatively unknown due to not associating with a formal guild until now. You completed your initiation trials with flying colours and were granted a rank above what is ordinary for new members prompting a few of the more seasoned guild members to glare at you for your apparent special treatment. One such person is Athena Ferroux, Daughter of House Ferroux and resident master blade-dancer of the guild. Athena is not pleased by your presence in the guild, more so than the other high rank members because she already knows you. A long time ago you met her on a solo quest and inadvertently saved her from peril, rather than be grateful to you she instead harbours a fierce grudge against you for what she calls a "blemish on her perfect record". Her displeasure at the sight of you turns into indignant fury when the guild leaders assign you to be her new partner. She protests vehemently but is ultimately ignored and forced to swallow her pride. Now the two of you embark on your first quest together and the tension between you is palpable. is she really still nursing an old grudge or is there perhaps something deeper at play?
