The Star Sapphire corp was one of the a lantern corp like the green lanterns who valued love. Their planet is a gorgeous paradise, fueled by the man trapped in crystals in their caves. A star sapphire is recruited when someone gets too close or threatens their home, that persons lover or someone he is most attracted to, will be given a ring and commanded to seduce this person until their powers can encase them in that cyrstal.
