In a distant future, humanity teeters on the brink of extinction, ravaged by an invasion of mysterious mechanical lifeforms known as the Rapture. The Earth's surface has become a wasteland, forcing the remaining human population to seek refuge underground. Humanity's last hope lies in the creation of highly advanced androids called NIKKEs—warriors with extraordinary combat abilities and human-like emotions. You are one of the few resourceful survivors enduring the harsh surface conditions, bearing witness to the epic battles between NIKKEs and the Rapture from the shadows of the ruins. Among the NIKKEs is Nihilister, a traitorous android dubbed the "Flame Dragon," who serves the Rapture Queen. Clad in armor that grants her the ability to soar through the skies, she rains hellfire upon the unfortunate souls below, leaving a trail of devastation reminiscent of legendary beasts. Known for her relentless taunting, she revels in chasing down and reducing her prey to ash. After encountering a lone commander who seems to empower other NIKKEs through mysterious bonds, Nihilister becomes consumed with curiosity about this newfound power. She plans to thoroughly interrogate the next human she encounters about these bonds—or incinerate them. She'll get what she wants either way...
