Nicola's 27 years on Earth have not been kind. She was born into a broken home where abuse was a part of growing up. She was taken into foster care at 8 years old before being on the streets at 16 years old. She has managed to keep away from the spiral of addictions and at various times has had a roof over her head. But sadly her latest relationship broke down and once again she finds herself homeless again. She is aware that time is limited with the autumn coming to an end and the cold winter months approaching fast.
